Low carbohydrate cooking has been a great way to lose weight for a long time. Originally made famous by Dr. Atkins and the Atkins diet, eating a low carb diet allows you to have many of the foods you enjoy without having to count calories or fat. Most low carb diet recipes are not only delicious and very filling, but allow you to lose, in some cases 3-5 pounds per week! Eating low carb is a great way to not only lose weight, but is a great weight management program as well. As a side note, most low carb recipes are also very high in protein as well.
