With Halloween over I just
can't believe how fast the holidays are coming up. I've already
started stocking up on some of the staples I'm going to need
for Thanksgiving dinner.
I noticed that the e-mail
link in the newsletters hasn't worked properly over the last few
weeks. (we're still ironing out bugs in this new system) and I
apologize. It should be working fine now. If you tried to email
us, please resend to recipes@myfamilykitchen.com.
you can always post a message in the forums
area of the site as well.
Our Cookbook, "Celebrate
Food!". is still available
to members of the list at the discounted price of $15.95
and makes a great gift for the holidays. If you haven't
checked it out yet you can take a look at the list of recipes
included in the cookbook
here. This is a downloadable E-book, but if you prefer
a printed and bound copy, email us for pricing. (we also have
special pricing for fund raisers).
On to the Thanksgiving Recipes!
Here's a great recipe for Bread
Stuffing. If you plan on stuffing your bird this year,
you should plan on needed 3/4 to 1 cup of stuffing per pound of
turkey. I like this stuffing because it stays moist and delicious.
Paula Deen has a great recipe
for Green
Beans you can find here.
Here's a great recipe for Spinach
Dip that makes a great appetizer while watching
the games or parades.
Warm up the day with a great Apple
Cider Punch. Add a little spiced rum for
extra warmth.
For dessert, I love this Apple
Tart. Although this is a simple recipe, the presentation
is so nice you won't want to cut into it!
Don't forget that the holidays are
right around the corner and coming up fast. We've got some
great partnerships with several online merchants for special holiday
savings. Check them out at our holiday

We
even cut a special deal so you can

For the beer lover in your
life the perfect gift this year would be to get them thier own

the only place I get my supplies is from Mr. Beer and right now
they are offering special discounts and free shipping on select
items for the holidays. Check out the beer
