Monster Toes Recipe

This Halloween you can serve up monster toes to all the little (and big) monsters at your Halloween Party. This is a fun Halloween recipe that kids love to help with. Leave a bit of the pretzel undipped and it becomes the "toe bone"!

  •  1 bag large Pretzel sticks
  •  12 ounce bag Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  •  Walnuts or pecans halved or whole (for toenails)

Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave and stir until smooth. break pretzel sticks into 2 or 3 equal pieces and dip 2/3 of the way into melted chocolate. (it's important to break the pretzels, not cut them for the broken bone effect) place on wax paper lined cookie sheet.  Place nut at the top of dipped part of the pretzel. allow chocolate to harden before serving.

Note: nuts may be dipped in red or green food coloring for added bloddy effect.

Let dry. Enjoy!
