Lettuce Wraps
These quick and easy Chinese lettuce bundles make an excellent appetizer, light dinner or finger food.
The recipe calls for ground pork (the clasic Chinese version) but you can substitute beef or turkey as well.

Chinese Lettuce Wrap Recipe
For 6-8 wraps you will need:

8 oz ground pork, beef or turkey

2 tbs. terriyaki sauce

1 tbs soy sauce

1/4 cup water chestnuts

1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper

2 tbs. finely chopped green onion

6-8 large iceberg lettuce leaves
Brown the meat in saute pan or wok and drain well. Stir in remaining ingredients except for lettuce and simmer for 2 minutes. Fill each lettuce leaf with about 2 tbs. of mixture and roll up.
NOTE: if the sauce is to thin you can thicken it with a little corn starch. add a pinch at a time.
