Ice Cream Sundaes

Most kids (and adults) love ice cream. This is a quick dessert recipe and a fun way to put a twist on dessert that your kids or party guests can make themselves.

Ice cream Sundaes are a great desert anytime of year, but especially on a hot summer day. Use your imagination for toppings and have fun!

Ice Cream Sundae Recipe

Ice cream, ( i prefer the Neapolitan)

Topping suggestions:

chocolate syrup (i prefer to warm it in the microwave for hot fudge!)
butterscotch sauce
chopped nuts
candy sprinkles
gummy bears
macerated strawberries
chocolate chips
whipped cream or cool whip
Cherries

place all ice cream toppings in separate bowls. scoop ice cream into bowl and let everyone put thier favorite topping on the sundaes themselves.

For grown up sundaes try fresh fruits or berries such as blueberries, blackberries, diced peaches, or apricot preserves.
