Biscuit Wraped Hot Dogs

Dogs in a Blanket

All Kids love hot dogs, and this recipe is a great way to let your children help in making a snack, lunch or quick dinner.

A twist on the Pigs in a blanket recipe, this dogs in a blanket recipe calls for hot dogs ( I prefer the all beef type) and a can of prepared biscuits.

For a fast dinner, serve them up with frozen french fries (cooked of course!) or some baked beans.

Dogs in a Blanket Recipe

  • 1 package hot dogs
  • 1 package ready to cook biscuits
  • mustard (optional)

open biscuits and separate. press or roll each biscuit flat and spread with a thin coat of mustard if desired. Place a hot dog on edge of each biscuit round and roll. place on cookie sheet and bake for approximately 10-15 minutes, or until biscuit browns slightly.

Serve with Ketchup, Mustard or your favorite dipping sauce.
