Garden Fresh Cucumber
& Tomato Dill Bites

for cucumber and tomato with fresh dill, that is one easy
recipe to prepare and will leave your family and guests asking
for more. Use garden fresh ingredients in this savory summer
recipe to ensure the best flavor and presentation.
Cucumber & Tomato
Dill Bites
1/2 cup LAND O LAKES® Sour Cream
3 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill*
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon granulated sugar
20 large cherry tomatoes
2 small cucumbers, each cut into 8 (1/2-inch) slices
Fresh dill sprigs, if desired
1. Stir together sour cream, red pepper,
dill, lemon peel, salt and sugar in small bowl. Cover; refrigerate
at least 20 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, cut thin slice off top and bottom of each cherry
tomato. Place tomatoes and cucumber slices onto serving platter;
dollop each with about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon sour cream mixture.
Garnish with fresh dill, if desired.
Makes 36 appetizers.
* Substitute 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
weed .
